SBH Health System is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. David Perlstein to the position of President/CEO. Dr. Perlstein will assume his new responsibilities July 1st.
Dr. Perlstein, a pediatrician, joined St. Barnabas Hospital in 1999 as the Director of Ambulatory Pediatrics and most recently served as SBH’s Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer.
A strong and compassionate clinical leader, Dr. Perlstein is deeply committed to both the quality of patient care and to the well-being of the SBH community.
Dr. Perlstein’s vision for the organization, a vision we share and support, is to provide the safest, most effective and efficient care possible; to grow strategically while providing appropriate acute and preventive health care services to our community; and to improve the health of the community while engaging patients, clinicians, staff and the Board of Trustees on our transformative journey.
