Bachelor’s Degree Required

Solid understanding of hospital operations and workflow

Prior experience with Allscripts Enterprise/Eclipsys SCM preferred

Prior experience with configuration of CPOE applications (Physician Documentation)

Good written, verbal and organizational skills with strong analytical, problem solving, planning, and prioritization skills

Self-motivation and self-directed to work within a team and/or work independently

Detail, deadline and solutions oriented

Good English verbal and writing skills

Ability to cope with the demands of a dynamic workload

Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint?)

St. Barnabas Hospital is a large multi-site New York City community Hospital and a Designated   Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center.  We are located in the Belmont section of the Bronx and we are currently recruiting for a Director of Business Intelligence and Clinical Analytics.  This individual will be responsible for providing leadership at a systems level and is expected to direct all aspects of Clinical and Finance Analytics based on Population Health.  In addition, responsibilities will include providing internal and external customers with data, information and knowledge necessary to assess the quality of cost efficacy of health care services, as well as lead care effectiveness and improvement initiative.
Qualified candidates must have five years hospital, health systems of health insurance industry (.e. payor) planning and research experience.  BA or BS degree is required. Computer literate a must.  Knowledge of SQL Server 2008R2 or 2012 is preferred.

Director of Therapeutic Recreation

Supervisor of the Cardio-Respiratory Department

St. Barnabas Hospital is a large New York City multi-site Community Hospital and a Designated Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center located in the Belmont section of the Bronx. We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor of the Cardio-Respiratory Department for the Night Shift. Candidate plans, supervises, delegates and is responsible for the functions and activities reporting to him/her. Exerts leadership in assisting the staff to make decisions and coordinates the overall activities. Other responsibilities will include evaluation and implementation of new equipment, education and training of all disciplines, as well as maintaining an active role in the quality, safety and patient satisfaction programs. Qualified applicants must be a graduate from an approved respiratory therapy education program and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). In addition, a current New York State License (RT) is required, a valid NYCFD COF G-17, BCLS Certification and a minimum of five years respiratory care experience, including 1 year in the critical care setting, and at least 1 year supervisory experience is preferred.

Experience/Skills Required: Four (4) year progressive experience in a Nursing administrative position.
                                  Demonstrated competence as a Nursing Practitioner.
                                  Demonstrated ability in problem solving.
                                  Prior experience as long term care nursing director a must.
                                  Excellent track record in nursing operation, planning and forecast.
                                  Acute understanding in formulating departmental budget and budget management.
                                  Thorough knowledge in human resource, labor relations, & labor management.
