Our expanding Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at St. Barnabas strives to deliver outstanding patient care. We offer state-of-the art diagnostic procedures and treatments for disease of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas and liver.
Our diagnostic procedures include:
- Colonoscopy
- Upper endoscopy
- Enteroscopy
- Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
Our division interests specifically include:
- Colon cancer
- Pancreatitis
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Celiac disease
- Barrett’s esophagus
- Viral hepatitis
- Nonalcoholic liver disease
In addition, we offer a direct endoscopy referral service for screening colonoscopy to patients who are age 50 and above.
We believe that continued excellence in patient care mandates training future generations of gastroenterologists. We are affiliated with Brooklyn Hospital’s certified fellowship program in clinical gastroenterology.
