Clinical Dietitian

Qualifications

Performs patient care nutritional activities including reviewing the completed screen of the patient nutritional status, assessing lab values, and other information to develop appropriate care plans. Monitors patient status, counseling patients and families on special diets and nutritional requirements. Consults with the iterdisciplinary team i.e. physicians, nurses, physicians, social service workers etc. Participates in departmental quality improvement activities. Precepts dietetic interns as needed.


Requiremnet: BA/BS degree in Nutrition. RD or RD Eligible. Active member of American Dietetic Association. 1 year clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
