Dermatology

Skin is the largest and fastest growing organ in our bodies, and it protects our internal organs.  Both are good reasons why it’s so important that we take care of our skin.  This begins by finding medical professionals who are knowledgeable in all aspects of skin care.

At SBH, we treat a wide range of medical and surgical dermatology conditions.  Areas of particular expertise include:

  •  Acne
  •  Eczema
  •  Contact dermatitis (which includes serving as a referral center for allergy patch testing)
  •  Psoriasis
  •  Skin infections (including sexually transmitted diseases such as Herpes and Genital Warts)
  • Warts
  • Skin Tags
  • Moles
  • Skin cancers/skin cancer screening
  • Skin of color-related conditions
  • Rosacea
  • Hair loss
  • Cysts
  • Keloids
  • Rare skin conditions

In addition, we are a major academic teaching and referral center, with links to Albert Einstein

School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Hospital.
