We are a core rotation site for the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City Unversity of New York. All of our faculty, including residents, have faculty positions through the CUNY School of Medicine. All faculty and residents have access to beneﬁts including email, UptoDate access, and library and academic support. This provides residents full-text access to thousands of medical textbooks and journals.

Residents working with CIR have accomplished many goals including hospital-wide blood draw protocols, coﬀee and snacks for overnights, and salary increases that allowed for an over 10% pay increase since 2020.
