Paul Flanagan served as Vice President and Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at Precyse Solutions in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer at 21st Century Oncology in Orlando, Florida, one of the largest medical oncology practices in the United States, and as Chief Compliance Officer at Curascript/Express Scripts Pharmaceuticals.

He has held compliance and privacy positions at leading academic medical institutions nationwide, including the University of Arizona and Hahnemann University Hospital.

Paul is dual certified in Compliance and Health Care Compliance; Paul received his JD from Creighton University School of Law, his MS in Human Resources/ Hospital Administration from Widener University, and his BA from Catholic University. In March 2018, Paul received the prestigious Fulbright award, where he taught Compliance and Privacy at the National University of Singapore.

Paul Flanagan teaches Compliance, Privacy, and Cybersecurity at Drexel Law School. He brings 28 years of working experience, working with some of the nation’s leading healthcare providers and higher education institutions.

Before joining the faculty at Drexel in 2017 as a Law school professor, Professor Flanagan served as Executive Director of Compliance and Privacy services for the Drexel University Compliance and Privacy Office. He helped manage the University’s Compliance, Data Privacy, and Security programs there. Previously, he held Compliance and Privacy leadership posts at Abington Memorial Hospital, and the University of Florida’s Shands Health System.
