The SBH Department of OMM recently attended the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) Annual Convocation in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The conference took place from March 22-26, 2017.
All residents in the department submitted research posters for the annual AAO research poster presentation, and all residents were invited to present their posters for the research poster presentation competition. The competition was held on Thursday, March 23, and sponsored by the AAO Louisa Burns Osteopathic Research Committee (LBORC) and the National Undergraduate Fellows Association (NUFA).
The competition drew 67 poster submissions and posters in original research, education and public health, and case studies were accepted. Residents from the SBH Health System OMM Department won three of the five slots in the original research and case study categories.
