Urology

Our outstanding Department of Urology provides compassionate and personalized care for those problems regarding the urinary tract, reproductive system and genitals. Patients with complex problems such as prostate cancer, bladder cancer, complicated kidney stones and urethral stricture disease no longer need to travel great distances to find outstanding urologic care.

Expansion of our urologic care now includes state-of-the-art, minimally invasive procedures, including robotic surgery.Our surgeons are on the forefront of treating these cancers in a multimodal fashion using both open and robotic surgery when necessary, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. We are also one of the region’s leaders in percutaneous surgery for staghorn kidney stones and surgical techniques for kidney stones and clinical prevention of stones; minimally invasive techniques for kidney and adrenal cancers; voiding dysfunction and BPH; and the repair of advanced urethral stricture disease, which may be caused from trauma or prior sexually transmitted diseases.
