Rooftop Farm

We involve local high school students with the rooftop farm we run through a partnership with Project EATS. Students harvest some of the food grown in the garden to use as ingredients during cooking classes. The rooftop farm is also home to over 250,000 bees, so participants also learn about honey production and the import role bees play in our food chain.

Overview of our cooking classes

Our cooking and nutrition experts offer a wide variety of classes to meet your tastes. Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of cooking experience. You’ll learn basic to more advanced techniques in the Teaching Kitchen. All our dishes focus on fruits, vegetables, grains, lean protein and healthy fats. They’re also low salt and low sugar to help control high blood pressure and diabetes. Enjoy a full meal while you’re in class. And, at the end of each session, you’ll walk away with leftovers and a handful of new recipes.
