You can choose to work on one of our Medical-Surgical floors, including our certified Primary Stroke Center unit or our NICHE-certified (Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders) Geriatric unit, our Level II Emergency/Trauma Department, or our SICU or MICU. Perhaps you want to work in our Maternity unit, L&D, Pediatrics, or our Level III NICU, or have a career in Behavioral Health. Grow your skillset

From a robust orientation program to engaging clinical rotations, SBH Nurse Residency Program supports, mentors and empowers new nurses to expand their skills. You will have a preceptor on your unit to help with your education and training, as well as a mentor to help support and guide you throughout your residency.

Continue your education

If you’re looking to further your nursing education, SBH is here to support you. We offer tuition reimbursement, yearly continuing education money and programs, and special funds to support nurses seeking to become nurse practitioners. You will have access to many free educational seminars of your choice.
