We also explore the role of behavioral change in achieving and maintaining abstinence, emphasizing how understanding and addressing triggers can significantly impact success rates.
Our sessions provide practical strategies for successful behavioral change, equipping individuals with tools to manage cravings and establish healthier habits. Additionally, we cover cessation medications—how they work, their benefits, and their limitations—to ensure participants are well-informed about their options and can make empowered decisions about their quit journey.

We discuss various strategies to prepare for the quit date, including identifying personal triggers and establishing coping mechanisms.
If appropriate, we prescribe cessation medications to support the patient’s efforts and increase the likelihood of success. Additionally, we schedule follow-up appointments to monitor progress, address any challenges, and make necessary adjustments to the quit plan. This ongoing support helps ensure that patients remain on track and receive the guidance needed for a successful cessation journey.
